"The Rotary Club of Scott Valley was the 1999-2000 recipient of the Rotary International Public Relations Award. This award, which is presented annually to one club in each District, recognizes the club who's public relations efforts have given Rotary and its various programs, high visibility within the community. District Director of Communications, Harriett Schloer, selected the Rotary Club of Scott Valley from the numerous applications which were received. Her selection was approved by District Governor Will Snyder and forwarded to Rotary International for certification."
