Welcome to the Rotary Club of Crook
County's Web Site!
We are
the Rotary Club of Crook County. Welcome to our website.
Our 35 members form one of 32,000 clubs
around the world in 262 countries, whose motto is Service Above Self.
Rotary was founded in 1905, our club was chartered in 1984, and we
celebrated our 25th anniversary in February 2009.
Our emphasis is community service which
we demonstrate through our annual “Dollars for Scholars” scholarship
fundraiser to help high school seniors in their educational pursuits.
We sponsor the “Shots for Tots” immunization program and support other
community programs such as the Oasis Soup Kitchen.
Internationally, we host an
international Rotary exchange student and send a student to another
country each year through Rotary International Youth Exchange Program.
We support Polio Plus which is Rotary’s program to eradicate polio
worldwide. To date, Rotary Club members have contributed more than $850
million.
If you are curious about why we do what
we do, please contact us. You too can experience the rewards of service
above self, and join the more than 1.2 million Rotarians around the
world who believe that “The Future of Rotary is in Your Hands”.
